Pest Risk Analyses

EPPO. (2018) Pest Risk Analysis for Rose Rosette Virus. After completing a UK PRA on Rose Rosette Virus (RRV), the PRA was then submitted to EPPO for consideraton. This was then used as the basis for the EPPO PRA, for which I was also a member of the Expert Working Group (EWG).

EPPO. (2017) Pest Risk Analysis for ‘Candidatus Phytoplasma phoenicium’ (almond witches’ broom). I was a member of the Expert Working Group for this PRA.

First author of multiple rapid PRAs for the UK on pests of horticulture, agriculture, and forestry. Examples include Ca. Phytoplasma fragariae, Ca. Phytoplasma fraxini (ash yellows phytoplasma), polyphagous shot hole borer, polyphagous shot hole borer, brown spruce longhorn beetle, wheat dwarf virus and Xylosandrus crassiusculus (granulate ambrosia beetle). PRAs are available via the UK Plant Health Risk Register website:
